It is sad that there are Overseas Filipino Workers who experience tragic fate abroad. However, there are still a lot who enjoy their years abroad in the hands of their kindhearted employers. Now, it seems like it will be a lot easier for OFWs in the United Arab Emirates because the current president passed a law subjecting to protect the rights of Filipinos. His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan apprived of the Domestic Labor Law, stating that workers can be allowed 12 hours of rest per day, to keep their private documents, and to have 30 days paid of leave per anmum.source:youtube
